WEDDINGS ON THE WATER

 Make waves - book your wedding on the
water. We offer the most unique wedding
setting in the North Country.
You have the exclusive private use of the
entire boat and crew for your event.
Full capacity of the boat is 141 passengers
including crew and other staff required.
Food Service: You may choose
to have Douglas Lodge cater your event.
You will arrange and negotiate your menu
with the Douglas Lodge Staff. If you
prefer, you may choose your own
Caterers. Another option is to bring and
serve your own food.
Beverage: Alcoholic
beverages, such as beer, wine and
champagne can be supplied by Douglas
Lodge when you use them as your event
caterer. No other outside beverages or
alcohol is allowed on board. We offer sodas and water.
Music: You are welcome to bring your own
music CD's to be played on our sound system.
Please note: Itasca State Park does have
noise restrictions on Lake Itasca and in the
Park.
Wedding Officiating:
You can be married by Thomas K. Coborn,
a U.S. Coast Guard Captain, or you may
choose your own clergy. A $100 fee goes
to the Captain.
Decorations: You are welcome to decorate the
vessel one hour prior to the event. However,
please pre-arrange this with the Captain, as
we may have scheduled tours. You are
responsible for taking down all decorations
and disposing of them.
Guided Walk Through: We will be happy to
give you a guided walk-through of the boat
to discuss your special wishes before your
booking. You may also take a free cruise
prior to your event. (Bride and Groom only)

Wedding Charter Rates
1 hour Charter = $650
2 hour Charter = $850
3 hour Charter =
$1,050
Additional Time = $200/ hr
To reserve your Charter date, a $200
non-refundable down payment must be made.
